Default 760 GLE Offers

Hi,

Have an 89 760GLE Estate id like to go to a good home, not expecting much for her really but rather she went to someone who will treat her sympathetically.

Has been really good to me, very reliable, has started first time everytime, even when left in snow for a week or more or sat at an airport for a month. Have spent a fair bit on her over the last eight years, a couple minor dents on doors below moulding near sill, just generally aging, usual car park pin dents and scratches, but looks good with a polish!

See this for more info http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=167633

Feel free to ask anything, i cant afford to keep her now i have a 960 as well as 3 other cars... dont want her to go for scrap if i can help it.. I'll post some photos tomorrow hopefully if it ever stops raining !

Cheers

Iain

As with your previous post, Iain, we could really do with some pictures - you know, they're worth a thousand words..................

Let me know if you do have to scap the car, I've been meaning to change to an electric fan. Cannot think of anything else that would do for a 940 td, unless you happen to know otherwise.

It does look a good car, perhaps it's just that usual problem that 'us' on here already have a volvo (or two) and simply don't have the space to fit another one in.

Perhaps the engine might put some people off, but not everyone.

Good luck, it certainly doesn't look like a scrapper.

As already said some of us already have a few cars,Me I have four.If I had unlimited room to store them I would be the proud owner of many more.I keep watching so many potential classics going for next to nothing and have to resist temptation.
It makes it so more difficult when owners come here wanting it to go to an enthusiast for almost nothing.
Although I would never discourage anyone not to offer them here first.
Hopefully a new member looking for a classic will see it and keep it amongst us.
Regards Brian.
PS I wanted it as soon as I saw it.I resisted it by telling myself I really need a manual.(Lies really) but the only excuse I could find.

Four! Crikey, I need to start putting tarmac over my wife's flower-beds!

We've got two ATM and am looking to replace one soon so will need space for three for a while, and that's going to be tight.

Default Thanks all

Hi All,

Thanks for all your kind words, of course i understand that most of you already have one or more !

Just rather she went to someone who will care for her in her dotage and that's why i'd prefer a member to have her.

Thanks again all,

Cheers
