Facelift 2.0 740 estate for sale or breaking.
I love the car but I've had enough of the silly fuel consumption, as I'm currently out of work it is just impractical for me. The tax runs out end of January so that's extra money to shell out which I don't need, and MOT in march I think.
The car drives spot on, engine pulls perfectly, automatic gearbox changes gear spot on. Interior is in good condition, body panels are all solid. Had brand new rear shocks fitted couple of months ago. Tyres are all good on 15" steel wheels. Has a towbar with working electrics. Has had timing belt and new injector seals within past year and half. Recent oil change too. It has the b200e engine, I've had it on an mot emissions tester 3 weeks ago and its running as clean as a car with a cat. Electric aerial in working order. Speedo and odometer don't work but the rest is fine. Some broken bits of plastic inside, I could get spares easily if needed. Looking to either sell as it is or break it, I can courier most items except engine and bodypanels etc. Pics to follow. |

Sadly i think the only way of getting my money back is stripping it and weighing it in. As much as I don't want to, it is still only a car, so if anyone wants anything, please post on here and I will get back to you.

Cars - and vehicles in general - can never be considered an investment and so owners are most likely gonna lose out.
Personally I think its a crying shame to weigh in a perfectly good car, but thats the market today :-( (oh, and I have a fully functioning speedo and rev counter for one of these if it helps any potential buyer).

I also have a fully functioning speedo and rev counter, I bought it but it is a different manufacturer so the plugs are all different on the back. Whoops. So that needs to be sold.
I also have a rear spoiler I bought for it but never fitted |

What condition are the wheeltrims in - do they have any scuffs or marks? I'd be interested in the set of those if you're breaking it.
