For Sale: Immaculate 960 3.0 CD Auto Estate
Due to ill health I am having to sell this immaculate 960 which I bought from the original family only a few months ago, where it was routinely garaged. It was my intention to run it long-term. If you are looking for a beautiful, original 960 estate with excellent provenance, this is it. I am a perfectionist when it comes to cars and could not believe it when I discovered this one.
NB: The registration number shown in the picture is a personalised one and not included in the sale, though this can be negotiated by mutual agreement. The vehicle was supplied and mainly serviced by the same dealer from new and comes with 2 keys and fobs, original handbook, sales invoice, bills, mots and a stack of other documents. It has wanted for nothing. The original family have several Volvos and they always get them serviced at the same place and so know the dealership well. Current mileage is 152,000. The car drives like new - an overused phrase which in this case is quite literally true in my opinion. It's as tight as a drum and the gearbox works flawlessly. Cosmetically it is almost perfect, were it not only for some stone chips which you would expect of an unmolested, original car of this age. The alloy wheels are not kerbed but there is a very small amount of flaking on close inspection. As you might expect, if you're a Volvo person, the vinyl door trim is also pinched by the windows, but comparatively not nearly as much as many I have seen. Everything works as it should. I've just put 2 new Michelin tyres on the back. The inside is, once again, just like new, with unmarked and unworn grey leather, carpets, headlinings and mats. The somewhat delicate grey roof and side linings are as new. There is no evidence of use in the boot area, no stains, no carpet wear, nothing. The rear seats look like they've never been used, confirmed by the brand new-looking, unscratched, plastic winter mats. I have just completed a full Gliptone leather treatment. Specification as follows: B6304S 204bhp engine; Regency red metallic; full CD spec with walnut, leather, sunroof, factory Alpine/Dynaudio CD tuner/speaker upgrade, cruise, climate, load levelling rear suspension, factory hands-free mobile kit, passenger air bag, Tracker (not currently in service), electric memory heated seats, winter overmats, mud flaps, factory removable/concealed swan-neck tow pack, factory folding luggage guard, integrated child seat. Viewing welcome, you will not be disappointed. Offers in excess of £2000. Best to register your interest by email: guyfancourt@gmail.com |
