2000 V70. Needed a car as fed up using my dads Transit with dodgy starter, and new girlfriend with 2 kids. Although it may be used for work if need start working for myself again.

praise for my 440
my 440 1.8 si just passed its m.o.t. again only needed to adjust the handbrake mechanism, some corrosion reported on a rear brake pipe in front of fuel tank! had the car six years now, 95,000 miles seems likely to go on for at least another six. Quality!!!

Funny I thought the 700/900 would have been more popular than the 850 group.

Hello,
I own a V50. I wanted an 850 but couldn't find one that was in good enough nick, then found a great 940 which I was going to buy until I saw it being mullered by a Renault modus on a clip of a crash test from fifth gear so I plumped for the cheapest V50 I could get that looked the part - a 2.4i SE and I love it, though I've spent four figures on servicing and rectifying faults. It's great to drive and has a five star euro ncap rating :0) |

2004 S60 D5 (163) Sport for me.
I've only had it a month and a half but I'm already smitten; I absolutely love it! Oh, and I'm late 30's and slightly 'beardy' but only because I can't be arsed with shaving
