940 estate body technical dimensions
I need this dimensions for the paperwork to make the portuguese tags and I can't find them anywhere. Not even the certificate of conformity has them. Just wheel base.
Does anyone have a drawing with this or perhaps knows the values?

This would appear to be a test of your capacity to own a tape measure and your ability to use it. Case closed.

Drawings
I usually save interesting things I come across on the internet, as you never know how long they are accessible or you cannot find them if you need them.
Attached a dimensional drawing, apperantly used for the Austrian type approval. It is a 740, but the dimensions of a 940 will be identical. You can easily measure and scale down any dimension you are after, as the drawing is to scale. Another picture included with some internal diemensions, not to scale. |

But i did honetsly think this measurements would probably be in some technical book/manual, i mean, something official, but I just couldn't find them. I guess if there is no official correct answer, they can't really contest the values I insert, as long as they are kinda in the ballpark. I'll use this pic and confirm with tape. Honestly this soudns a bit too much, especially from portugal. Germanic demands, Banana Republic benefits. EDIT: Actually using scale is a great idea. Just using a 940 scale drawin, I know the wheelbase dimension, so I can go from there. It didn't occur to me, because I just assumed, like I said, that this would be official info somewhere.

Hi

Genuine question and most people can see the poster was after a copy of a Volvo document that would more likely be accepted as "official" measurements. I am sure TFL wouldn't accept your own home measurement for emissions exemption.
