One of the things that attracted be to this car was it's fuel consumption.

My old XC90 was averaging around 26mpg - I was expecting 30-35mpg with the XC60 despite the same engine.

How do you get this to display on screen? I havnt found that function yet.

Press My Car on the centre dashboard, scroll down to Trip Statistics and then press ok. I use it all the time. Can view it mid journey too if you want to see how a section of road/driving has been.

If you leave the car locked for 4 hours it will reset to 0. You can also reset it by pressing ok again while viewing the graph.

It doesn't reset if you've not selected the Auto-Reset function (MY2015), Mines showing a steady 38.6 mpg over the 20,000 miles covered this year at an average of 43.4mph.

Ah, not sure if mine has that function (MY14), but in any case I have the displays on the instrument cluster for long term average. I like being able to see what one journey offers. My long term is 39.8mpg at an average of 34mph over 9,000 miles.

MOT passed back in March with no advisories.

Have had 4 tyres (the old ones looked a little perished) and have had a set of rear brake shoes/pads fitted.

Biggest update was the retrofit of front and rear cameras. I'd seen the youtube video but the Volvotech website appeared not to be available. So, I went with Empirical In-Car Technology (https://www.in-car-install.co.uk/) - as simple as plug and play and lots of panel removal - but did it over a couple of days.
