They may collect all the data but the app (android in my case) doesn't show anything other than the A and B markers. Haven't checked on my wife's iPhone though that is linked to the car as well.....

Same here
Worked fine up until December since then only A to B showing but no route or mpg mph in between

They did change the layout at one point if I recall. Now you have to click the '>' symbol to the right of the 'A' and 'B' info in the 'Route' section to get to the 'Trip Route' screen which has all the tracking info including mph, mpg, + and - mi./kWh. I guess some owners don't have a '>' button to click. (EDIT: my Android App version 4.3.8)

Checking back on Calendar it has not worked since latest software patch R39917 to correct potential location fault in sensus for on call was installed on 30th November

I'm sure mine stopped around late Summer last year. It had certainly stopped before my service at the start of November last year.
Checked my wife's iPhone and it's the same - just the A and B markers

I just received the following from Volvo customer services on this topic:
We can advise that the Volvo On Call App is programmed to record the start and end of the route, this was not designed to show exactly how you got there. If others are able to see the route they have taken, this is not what we would have expected from our App. It looks like they took away the route information at some point and that's why some can see it, or could see it and no longer can. If anyone can still see it then I'm afraid i cant explain that at all! |

Something of a non-answer - just tells us what we already know, not why they changed it - which, clearly, they have!
And its a lie - unless we are expected to believe it used to show the route by accident...
