240 Glt
Hey y'all, My Amazons gonna be off the road for a time, and while its off i need a beast to tank around in. At the moment i've only got a mk3 fezza, boooooo. So i wanna buy a 240 Estate. Rugged, solid, last forever, and f*ckin cool as. plus i can jump in it every day go go to work and shoot up to Scotland at the weekend if i need to pick up a gearbox.
Basically, i've singled out the 240 GLT, BUT if any of you lot have any better suggestions, please shout. Also, i only wanna spend about 200 gettin her. cheers Tom

Good choice next best thing to an Amazon - just don't loose your licence with it. They cruise happily at 90mph in 5th at about 3,000 rpm which is the rev range they like. 30mph limits can be a pain 1800 rpm in 3rd which takes abit of controlling to stop it creeping up or 2800in second - my choice if I need accurate control (plod on rear bumper). You will find it a good car for everything - mines covered 74,000 in the last two years in my ownership.
