Default Detroit Truetrac LSD for the Dana 30 differential

For sale a Detroit Truetrac LSD for the Dana 30 differential that has a gear ratio of 3.73 and up (3.73, 4.11, 4.56 etc) £300 plus postage for the diff, they sell for over £500 in the UK. The one pictured I imported from the US and is brand new.

The following models should have the Dana 30 to fit this LSD: 1800E/ES 1970-73. the 140 from 1967-end 1974, and the 240 series to around 1980. But please check for yourself as I am not an expert on old Volvos.

It's the high pre-load so less slip. Part number is 912A588. This has the upgraded casing material over the old part number 912A411.

For what it's worth to anyone reading the ad who hasn't driven a 140 with a LSD, this is a 'must have' bit of kit especially if you use the car in all weathers.

Mine has got me out of bother more times than I can remember and once you've mastered the technique, it can also help the car to turn on a sixpence very quickly indeed.

Good luck with the sale!
