Basically the ultimate frankenstein of Volvo's greatest, isn't it?

It's the quintessential boxy estate
Rear wheel drive
Five Cylinders
Big ol' turbo
Blue seats with no bolstering whatsoever.

I've only had a scan at the advert but there seems to be some good work gone into that. If the suspension and all the other bits have been overhauled as well its well worth 8K in my book.

The only trouble with buying such modified cars is ongoing maintenance if you are not a highly competent DIY'er. With so many custom or non 240 parts, if problems arise, average joe and the local garage will be stuffed trying to figure out what part(s) is actually fitted and probably not being able to throw is a quick replacement to see if it cures the issue.

The price seems very fair to me. It would cost you that to build the same kind of thing ignoring labour costs.

If you wanted a 5 banger 240 this is likely a good way of going about it

That's fantastic.

I don't think there would be too much issue with non std parts maintenance, as mentioned in an early post, since it's all quite clear from the mod list.

Shame it's a welded diff though...

Bet it's fun!

Probably hoping that someone will offer 9k or something.

If you expect to get back what you put into a car you’ll never sell one unfortunately.

It’s a great car but I think I’d rather have a mint evo 6!
