S/V70 steering wheel in an 850?

Hi all,

Try as I might I can’t find the guide on fitting a 70 series steering wheel into an 850, I’m sure I saw one at some point... Was it just the column shroud that needs trimming?

I have a mk1 C70 wheel in mine .Straight swap.

Oh right?! Could have sworn I saw something about either the column shroud or airbag connector?? Nevermind, cheers. 👍🏻

Airbag connector and horn wiring is for fitting P2 wheels. P80 ones are indeed a straight fit. Round wheel on square shroud can look a bit odd if that's something you care about though.

Mega, knew there was something!!! Just not applicable..😂 To be honest it probably will irk me but I’m just sick of the scabby wheel in mine, previous owner must have had 80 grit palms.. Managed to find a half wood V70R wheel for 20 quid..👌🏻

The C70 wheel is square same as the shroud.
