You need to push the lens either forward or backwards, (i cant remember which) and then pull out towards you. Make sure you get it right, otherwise you will break the tab and scrap it. They are getting thin on the ground these days

I thought you was talking about the side repeater. For the actual indicator There is a sprung loaded release from inside the engine bay. It is quite difficult to get at. You need to release that and the lens should fall out!!

If it is the front indicator not the repeater, then get a long screwdriver and look down inside the car just next to the bonnet release catches and you will see a wire loop. Put the screwdriver in the loop and use it to unhook it from the body. This then releases the lamp holder and gets you access. Fitting is the reverse of removal.

The link below shows you the spring. One end is on the housing, the 'nook' hooks onto the bodywork and the loop is for the tool/lever/screwdriver

Yes I remember now, held by a spring instead of a plastic clip

If the push down tab breaks (don't press it too far) drill this & the light body with small holes just slightly larger than a small cable tie:~

Try some super glue or ABS cement on the join and pull the pieces together with the cable tie- you should find this strong enough to hold the lamp back in place.
If it remains a loose fit then use a second tie to pull it back etc.
Bob.

I bought the whole thing off ebay for £3 it has a black body with two pins for power, with a orange lens at the other end does the lens come off to put the bulb in? Yea it's the indicator repeater on the Front wing near the door

The glass (plastic) lens itself doesn't detach as it's glued to the black portion but to release the bulb holder you need to twist that section with the electrical connections anticlockwise until you get resistance then pull outward to reveal the bulb. It may be tight due to years of crud so a little smear of Vaseline to ease reassembly.

To release the side repeater lens slide a credit card between the indicator lens and the wing. I'm almost certain the tab is towards the front of the car.
