Default Significant pressure build up in fuel tank

Good evening,
My 1998 S70 T5 has just developed an issue that I am worried could result in bigger problems. Basically the last two times I have filled up there has been a surprising release of pressure from the tank when I open the filler cap. Any idea what it could be? I have a couple of hundred miles journey to do in the car at the weekend - am I wise to attempt it?

Check the vacuum lines to your evap hoses. Also check the rollover valve, and the evap valves. All easy enough to check and or replace.

Fuel tank vent blocked? Not sure where they are on these but either a very small hole in the filler cap or a small bore rubber pipe attached high up on filler neck.
