Default full beam

on full beam you will illuminate one of the two bulbs in the headlight unit, switching to dipped headlights, extinguises the main beam bulb, and illuminates the dipped bulb.
so you have correctly wired it up.

hi darlo

unfortunatly not from a phase 1 to a phase 2 lights if you allready have twin headlights in and then go to the new five pins at the rear instead of four then you can get an adapter from volvo

cheers anyway

Default Full Beam Sorted

Thanks to Ray T for the wiring diagram

but to let you know if you bridge blue wire with red stripe and blue wire with yellow stripe in the plug behind the switch then the full beam works perfectly

and thank you all for your help
