S40: - Headlight bulb gone

Morning forum people,

I noticed this morning that my offside dipped beam is out, though the main still works. Here is my car...

Could one of you nice people advise me what bulb I need to buy, and while I'm at it should I replace with an upgrade bulb ?

It is false economy to purchase "cheaper" h/l bulbs use the Volvo recommended
bulbs as they do last longer and as your car is a ph2 it already has upgraded lamps.

Thanks for that stevo, any idea of what fit they are, or where I can view a fitment chart ?

If you buy from a main dealer, by giving the reg number they can give you the exact bulb you need. I may be wrong, but from the pics of your car I think you might need to buy a H7 bulb.
