240 gle estate - auto 1983 for sale

2.4 auto estate - silver (paint work faded - patchy)
mot 7 aug 10 / tax end aug 10
101k - bodywork rusty in parts
owned for the past 20yrs but now looking her age
but has been good workhorse used daily.

volvo enthusiast cld restore although some welding/body work
and new paint job wld be required.
possibly better for spares, 4 good tyres plus new spare.
located Camberley - Surrey - if interested view.

Steve it's "A 245"Not a complete wreck just as you say showing her age aahh bless..
Certainly seems like it was looked after as the trim is all there.The wheels would clean up well or maybe a refurbish.And are those door handle surrounds CHROME?And I really must buy one older so I can have that lovely bonnet bulge and pronounced chrome grill like I had on my "B reg"
Looks to be a fair bit of welding around the rear wells and maybe elsewhere.At least the tailgate seems ok which is quite rare on the silver ones of this year.Was the silver colour thinner than most other colours?
And I would think 2.3L not 2.4L easy to get wrong as it is actually just above 2.3L!

yr right shld read 2315cc actually (well nearly 2.4)
has been very reliable over the years,
can't keep it forever as also have a 340 dl low mileage
and I'm not allowed anymore toys.

not really sure - think mainly around the rear wheel arches,
