That's good to know, thanks.
I went on to the Renault website to download their latest maps for my wife's 1-month-old Kadjar earlier this week. I was flabbergasted to find out that they were last updated in Q1 2019 and have a file name of ***2018***, suggesting that it's actually 2 years since they've been updated!! I know some complain about the frequency of Volvo updates but I'd rather have regular updates (that you can choose to ignore) than no updates (per Renault). |

I've downloaded what I think it the latest version - it was around 660mb. Took a while to download over my phone connection, but the subsequent installation seems to be taking even longer.
I'm fairly new to Volvo; is it normal for the installation of a map update to take so long? I'd estimate it's worked away for 45 mins and is around 25% done. At least it seems to keep its progress between ignition turn offs. Thanks |

I checked in my car this afternoon, with a view of only updating North West Europe OTA, but no update were available.

The website has now caught up (even though they have changed the layout once again) and is now showing the North West Europe update 1320 as published on 22/11/2020. It is listed as being 2.59GB. In the process of downloading it it USB as we speak.
