Default Anyone with factory installed towbar in new XC60?

Than you in advance for any help provided, I have a 2019 XC60 with factory installed towbar. After a small accident i had to change the rear bumper. After that, there is a small cut at the center of the bumper, was i am 95% i did not have before, I am almost sure the car was not fixed properly,The dealer that fixed my car insists that every XC60 with a towbar has a cut in the middle and lower part of the bumper.
I have attached a couple of pictures of it. Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply. When you say underneath you mean it can be seen when watching the car from behind like in the picture, or is it under the car on the horizontal part of the bumper? Thank you again.

I gave a 2018 model, from the rear you can’t see any cut away, only if you get down on your knees then the bottom is cut out on the horizontal face. I guess with being a dealer fit option there are possibly differences between fitters??

NO , because there are guide lines moulded into the plastic where you are supposed to cut it , Bodyshop people may not realise this however , I would take it back to them if you are not satisfied with their work ..

I don't think any Volvo towbars are factory fitted, my understanding is that when ordered on a new SPA model they are fitted by the supplying dealer on PDI.

My V90 was certainly dealer-fitted and the cut out aperture is all underneath the bumper, no cuts are visible from behind, exactly as Clan has shown.

I've been told by the supplying dealer and another that the towbar on my V90 was factory fitted - apparently it's quite unusual as most are dealer-fit. I'll check when I remember, but can't say I've spotted any sort of a cut-out on mine.

I paid extra for that but at the end you cannot be 100% sure whether is factory or dealer fitted.
