7 years later and I'm going to have to sell it I think. I've still got the green one which I use more but the gul unfortunately has spent most of the last 7 years sat around, mostly in Mum's garage I'm pleased to add. Mum's moving house so no garage anymore.
I've also recently bought a V50 as my main car. It's orange. I like it, I also like the yellow car, but they can't really be parked next to one another.....even I know that!! |

Hi. Thanks for the interest, as I just said in a private message response I possibly jumped the gun last night, I just found the old post whilst looking for advice on my V50. I do need to sell it but I'm not ready to get rid yet. It not MOT'd therefore potentially worth little more than a painter and decorator would pay me for it!! Furthermore I need to swap the clocks out with my green car for an afternoon so I can read the real mileage for that one. It's little gear has broken on the back of the clocks and it doesn't have the correct OBD on it to find out the proper mileage whereas the yellow one does. I'll be sorting it out as soon as get chance, putting a few miles on it (last final fling) then advertising it. Watch this space.....

Hi Stu,
Don’t know your current situation but if you ever look at selling the gul then please message me. I’d love the first opportunity to buy this car back. Was my first T5-R and will always have a soft spot for it. Having a slight grin to myself while reading this thread about you wanting the full set. I’m currently in the fortunate position of having 1 of each (all automatic estates) Hoping the cars had a little bit of use and you’ve managed to get some enjoyment from driving it 😃 Thanks Richard |
