Default Xc60 Heated Door Mirrors?

Hi All I have an XC60 and can't find any setting for the heated door mirrors?

It doesn't seem to come on automatically with the rear defrost?

I have the heated steering and seats would be strange to have that and no mirrors?

Also not really sure if setting the parking climate in the car or to set up 15 min auto start in app would be best to preheat car and defrost windows?

I've set the settings on the car menu in climate to on for heated steering wheel, seats, front and rear defroster but can't find a setting for the fan heat?

Also I'm assuming that those settings above will work to preheat regardless of whether I set the car to auto start via the app or setting up the parking climate to come on via the timers? I'm a bit confused what way to do it?

I've got an XC90 which is my second one, too.

It has always p###ed me off BIG TIME, that my Volvo wing mirrors are not electrically heated.

I park my car outside all the time and, in the cold weather, the exterior is continually covered in condensation. This includes all the windows and the wing mirrors.

To wipe the windows I wind them down and then back up again.

For the wing mirrors, all one can do (you've usually started to drive off when you sit in the car and look at them and you see all the globules of water on them and realise they are just totally useless!), is stop the car, wind down the driver's side window once again and wipe the damn wing mirror manually. Then wind it back up again and then, realising your nearside wing mirror is still useless, get out of the car and go round and manually wipe that one too.

If she's there, wifey does the near side with a tissue.

Grrr!

Come on, Volvo! Let's have some electrically-heated wing mirrors.

EDIT: Silly me! It would appear I've actually now got heated wing mirrors/door mirrors but didn't know that they automatically come on when the Rear Screen Heater button is activated.

Send me your registration and I'll check on the spec guide for the relevant model year to ensure it has them. If it does then it suggests that the fuse that controls them may have blown or some other gremlin

They should come on when you turn your heated rear screen on.

This can be set up to come on automatically when you start the car via your car settings.

Thanks for that link Mr T.

I didn't realise I'd now got this facility:

Press the 'rectangular-shaped button' for the heated rear screen (It's near the illuminated Hazard Warning Lights button)

"Heated rear window and door mirrors are activated/deactivated and the button illuminates/extinguishes."

Don't all XC90/60s in the UK have heated side mirrors?
In Belgium, all SPA XC90s have them, including the Kinetic.

I'm pretty sure they do all have them, was just offering to double check the specific car

It takes a short(?) while before something happens, the heating element is not the most powerful.
