Default Retrofit Park Assist Pilot

So I've got a MY20 V90 T4 on order. I've spec'd Parking Camera 360 and Intellisafe Surround.

I'm just wondering if Park Assist Pilot could be (easily) retrofitted. Just a case of updating software?

Anybody happen to know?

If it is not included don't bother, its a waste of time and money, you will only use it once to try it out then find out you can park it much easier and quicker yourself.
With front and rear park sensors and 360 camera parking is a doddle.
Seriously do not bother paying for it.

Using park assist pilot still requires you to use the gears brakes and throttle manually, all it does is apply the steering and it is so slow to use.

Its not just software PAP has extra side facing sensors that need cut into the bumpers.

Ive used the self park in a couple of times, its a bit of a novelty, but the park out is where the benefit is, it does that quicker than you can, and if it tells you that it isn’t needed, you know you can just drive out on full lock without shuffling, which is handy when pulling out into traffic.

Made virtually no difference to the lease price, but its not worth the retail cash price.

There are another 8 sensors if i remember right , that's why the cost is over £1000 to add the kit on with the software ...
Also If you want front parking sensors this is the way it is done ...

Mine's MY20 so has Front and Rear Park Assist as standard, plus I've added Intellisafe Surround and Parking Camera 360, hence why I thought it may just be a software update, I was thinking maybe all the hardware was there already.

By the sounds of it that's not the case.

And in any case it would seem that it's not really worth having anyway.

Shame, I had a CLS a while back and the self park was pretty good (most of the time) - you just selected the spot and the cra did everything else. I have to admit that even with that convenience I didn't use it every time.

360 camera is all you need. Don’t sweat not having it.
