Have fun. It's hard to get down there to do the work. My steering wheel was removed, making it a little easier.

I've just replaced the heater control valve on my 1800E. The one on the car was a simple on/off water tap and I was surprised to see that the original has this coil which adjusts the temp "automatically". All very clever! The replacement from Brookhouse is also a simple tap, but in fact I do question the need for the more complex arrangement. If the car gets too hot/cold one simply moves the temperature lever.
