Hi, the wires going to the tailgate from under the roof lining have broken, so I need to replace them, looks like i need to remove the headlining, I have tried to but the metal plate I thing is aluminium which seems to be stuck on really well and am looking for some advice on how to do this.
cheers, Malcolm

You need to pull the plastic end of the headling back so that it comes out of teh holder. It is fairly easy to take out.

New looms are available

Many thanks for the link to your tool rental page - the valve clearance shim tool (9995022) will be really useful next time I adjust them (and a lot earlier than taking the camshaft off!).

Hi,
Thanks for the info, I've managed to remove the lining, just need to find the conections, then order the parts and hopefully get it fixed, as all the wires have broken both sides so no central locking, heated glass number plate lights etc,
Cheers Malcolm
