I can understand why you didn't want to stick sound deadening under that bonnet - it looks like a mirror !

Many thanks,

Chris and Alf... thanks for the kind words.

Ray, yes you can see the dilemma I had upon collection of the car, affixing adhesive sound deadening to the underside of the bonnet was a resounding.... No! Painter said he got carried away.....No kidding lol.

Hi

So she is yours 💜 yes we followed as the gentleman doing the work came and saw us at a show we were at with the car and caravan in Lowestoft and we emailed him some details.

She is looking lovely hope you have fun out and about.

Yes I remember him telling me he had met you, wasn't Gracie going in for some remedial repairs if I recall?

Hope we can hook up at a Volvo meet in the not too distant future, really enjoyed Peter Ragg's Amazon day at Southwold last year, took 'Alice's my 69 blue Amazon as Ingrid was in the Paintshop. Met a girl from Ditchingham, just 4-5 miles from my front door who has an Amazon Estate, and her name (not cars) is Alice 😆😇

Hi we were there but with the XC90 and two hairy GSDs. Sadly not as many there as the other years but the sausage and bacon baps were just as good. Gracie well went in for wings and one thing turned into another and is still not back not sure how she is at the moment as have not seen her due to lockdown but she will be home one day 😀 know Alice we meet up at bears and keep tabs on her on Facebook 😇

Gillberry,

Is Gracie away having beautification by way of some cosmetic surgery, hope no silicone is involved I had heard you were looking for wings at the time Ingrid was in the paint shop, and you managed to get a pair, beat me to the last pair at Brookehouse I do believe but i managed to source the last of the Swedish wings from another source.

What work is she having done and when do you hope to see her back?

She went in for wings then he found a couple of other bits and we have ended up having her stripped out which was a good thing In some ways as rear suspension cups were not good and as we tow the caravan was glad they were found. Have no idea when she will be home was hoping this August but then lockdown happened so they have lost several months. have not been able to check up on her. I know they were having to remake a rear panel as you could not buy them for an estate

Which rear panel are they making? Guy in Sweden makes the one that goes under tailgate and Brookhouse sell the ones that go on the bottom of the rear quarters.
