Angry New Radiator Leaking Tranny Fluid

I posted my frustrations a couple weeks ago when I snapped a tranny cooling line while replacing teh radiator. I had the car towed to the mechanic I ususally use and he replaced the line and flushed the tranny fluid and filters. Soon after getting this work done I noticed a drop or so of tranny fluid on the garage floor every night. I blew this off as residual fluid. Now I have determined the new radiator is defective and it appears that tranny fluid is leaking from the seal between the plastic tank and the aluminum core. I plan to contact the company (purchased online) I bought the Nissen radiator from and see what they'll do. My guess is laugh. If they don't replace the radiator I might pull it and take it to a repair shop and have the tank recrimped or maybe out of frustration take back to the mechanic and have him replace it with a new one. I just wanted to vent because my patience has run out with this car. Bought in SEP 05 with 70K miles and now $2000 later I'm very frustrated.

P.S. this car is bring back horror stories I had with a BMW. Thinking about a new car again.

There should be no problem with the faulty radiator being replaced FOC. You should have tried either Eurocarparts or German, Swedish & French for the radiator. There are also other suppliers who offer a comparable service.

All the best and inform me if the company give trouble about replacing the faulty radiator.

Peter.
