Volvo track day, 21st.June, Castle Combe.

Following the VOC's inclusion of reference to this event and the open day at MRG Chippenham in their current magasine here is the text from MRG's website with further relevant information:

"Join a group of Volvo owners and enthusiasts from the High Performance Volvo Club (www.t5d5.org) for their exclusive Track and Open Day, courtesy of MRG Volvo in Chippenham.

Following the overwhelming success of the events over the last 5 years, MRG Volvo Chippenham have sponsored another track event at the historic Castle Combe Racing Circuit, on Friday 21st June 2013, where participants will get to drive the circuit in Volvo cars, or go for passenger laps as they please. Participants will also get to test drive a wide range of Volvo Cars, including the new Volvo V40 R-Design. We will also be privileged to have the support of representatives from Volvo Car Corporation, Volvo Car (UK) Ltd. and Volvo Cars’ in-house tuning division, Polestar Racing, at the event, with the ground-breaking Volvo V60 Diesel Plug-In Hybrid electric vehicle for demonstration purposes. Full circuit hospitality, for all invited guests, is being sponsored by Shark Performance (www.sharkperformance.co.uk).

MRG Volvo will also be throwing their doors open on Saturday 22nd June 2013 and will have their Sales, Service and Parts team at hand to assist. There will be many offers available on the day, including vehicle “health checks” where you can have dedicated 1-to-1 time with a Volvo trained technician, plus huge discounts on work undertaken on the day, and parts sales. You could also stand to win prizes and vouchers in our prize raffles!
To book your car in for a “health check” please contact Simon Chiu (Service Manager at MRG Volvo) on 01249 443300. Historically, we have used all such events to raise funds for a worthwhile cause, and this year the nominated charity is Mission Motorsport (www.missionmotorsport.org).

Attendance and any participation whatsoever is entirely at individual participants' risk."
