Default 780 2dr Coupe....Help!

Quick Question Guys:
I found a 1989 Volvo 780 2 Door Coupe. 2.8 6 cylinder with only 77,000 miles in mint condition and with all the goodies....what do you guys think. Should I buy for $2800?

Hello again Gnomonlove

$2800 is £1602.01 if anyone wanted to know

I don't know much about these cars but a minter with relatively low mileage sounds good to me.

How does $2800 sound in the current second hand car prices in New York? What could you get for that amount gnomonlove?

Offer him $2500 cash and see if he takes it up. Expect a FULL service history to go with it and proof that it is not on hire purchase (lease purchase or what have you) and can be verified as his property. It does sound as if it is in the right price area. Best of luck and perhaps you could send some pictures when you have them. You could become a member of the VOC (UK) and register it on the 700 register if you wanted, but our high mileage club starts at 150,000 miles for a badge!

All the best, Peter.

Hi Mate

Sounds good, these are becoming collectable, but like the others you can try bargaining.

Yeah definitely guys. This will probably be my fulltime car so I hope that 150,000 miles is on the horizon. I know this little guy can do it. I will send you guys some photos. Its a beauty! and it comes equipt with a very good sound system!
