There may be something for members, but possibly not much as it is a new model.
Bob

The cheapest T5 is £4000 more than the lowest spec 3 door Focus ST.
Same car underneath the skin loaded with pricey Volvo stuff. And if you check the comparisons of the S40 T5 vis a vis the ST, the ST costs less in servicing and is expected to have lower depreciation. I suppose it is the price you pay for an aspirational purchase without the cachet of an Audi, BMW or Mercedes. Regards, Don. www.kalmar-union.com |

Being a fast ford I bet the residuals will be better on the ST too!

not too sure of it myself. Seems very expensive for the size of car.

The Audi A3 S-line 200ps TFSI 6speed is only a £1k more than the T5 price and for another grand you can get the Quattro version. Can't see the pricing of the C30 persuading the Audi buying public to defect?
You can also get a BMW 1 series M Sport 120i for less than the T5 and the 3 litre one is only 3 grand more. I think Volvo either need to improve their image ten fold or drop the prices. With the C30 Volvo are attempting to appeal to a whole new section of the car buying public which has previously been uncharted territory for them. At those prices they need to do something to entice them away from the Audi and BMW showrooms where the A3 and 1 series will have the badge "kudos" stakes wrapped up.

way overpriced IMO - a nice looking car (I saw the concept in Geneva ) but I dont think the price is realistic. Will drop like a stone in value after the initial surge dies down. I would love to realsitically consider one as our everyday sensible car but not at that price!- Would have the ST thanks

I may well buy a used two-three year old one. I'll wager you could pick one up for about £10k in a couple of years!
