as a slight digress is there any reset items done by disconnecting the battery and leaving off for a certain length of time before reconnecting.
I,m changing battery on mine tomorrow so if there is I can wait a while before putting new one on once old one taken off.
a quick Q is there anyone in Newcastle area with a vida that can reset battery counter

Caution! The counters should only be reset when the battery is being replaced or has recently been replaced.
After having my notebook repaired, I hooked it up and ran VIDA.

Went to Diagnostic - Vehicle Comm - CEM module- Parameters - I can see the Battery voltage but that's about it. Can't find the said battery counters.

Had a look in the activation Advanced tab but couldn't find it there. Programmed values couldn't be selected.

Where is it actually?

No, there is no system on these cars which is reset by leaving the car powered down for any period. On a 1980s 440 if you left the battery off overnight it would reset the AM/FM radio preset buttons, but that’s about it...
