S40 PAS Pump return line seal leaking.
Hello, from some investigation into why I was leaking PAS fluid all over the engine bay in my 2008 s40 1.6, I have found that when I turn the steering wheel to the extremes of left and right, and therefore put the fluid under pressure, it sprays out from the seal where the high pressure metal pipe returns to the steering pump.
I know there have been some similar issues with seals leaking on the compression type fitting going back into the pump, and I am wondering is it possible to get a replacement O-ring or seal kit, as opposed to a whole new pump ? Thanks, Michael. |

But unfortunately, it must be replaced in conjunction with the accompanying high pressure hose. Since once clipped together they cannot be separated : 31201072
