I've got a 2008 S40 On heavy breaking coming to a stop once stopped the hazard lights flash until I pull off again. Dose mine have the flashing brake lights when heavy breaking?

Yes, as it is an EU standard fitting for 2008 onwards. Check your manual, it will say what EBL does You def. have it Again, they only activate when you exceed a certain G force...

It's interesting this, the UK lighting regs prohibit automatic flashing lights other than amber, pretty sure of it. The euro regs obviously allow it though and they must supercede the UK regs. I wonder if they will have to rewrite the UK ones to keep up.

It is like here in Germany. By German law, my summer tyre setup would be illegal, as German laws says, that my tyres have to be covered and nothing is allowed to stick out of the wheel arch. EU law says, that the tread has to be covered to a certain degree. Rims may stick out, but the tread has to be covered (to a certain degree). Results: formerly illegal wheel configurations are legal.

If you're in the UK as your posts suggest then you are most certainly in the EU!
