Default Intermittant Brake Judder

This has been driving me mad for months now.
Car usually drives fine, but every now and again I get a bad brake judder when braking. Exactly like a cracked/warped disc.
The odd thing is it's intermittant, doesn't do it all the time.
Calipers all free with free sliders and clean grease in the bellows.
Discs and pads, fairly new (genuine), no obvious faults.
Handbrake shoes and springs all OK (genuine, manual adjusters fitted).
Pad spring clips are fitted correctly.
Caliper bolts tight.
Wheel bearings all OK.
CV joints appear to be OK.
Tracking OK.
When it's been vibrating, the car rolls freely on a gentle slope, no heat being generated.

It's definately braking related, only does it when braking, and can be absolutely perfect or quite violent, with no real conditions differing.
Perhaps it's slightly worse gouing downhill but that's maybe just coincidence.

Anyone come across this before? I really don't want to start changing parts trying to find the fault.

Check the front wishbone bushes ... if it only happens intermittently then it could be one of the bushes ... I had it happen to me ... took several attempts to identify what was happening, bushes changed and all ok ... worth checking.

Hope it helps

Thanks guys, the front suspension is pretty 'loose' so wishbones makes sense.
Will check and report back
