Rear fog lights
My 2010 only has one rear fog illuminated when on. Is this correct? Not had a chance to check if just a bulb out. (Offside is working)

For many decades Volvo only have rear fog lamps on the drivers side.
Many many other car makers do the same.

If you search the forum carefully there is a thread on what parts to order to add a second fog light if you wish - most of the wiring is already there.

Having only the light on the driver's side is to avoid confusion with brake lights.

Agree that was probably the original plan but...
1 - As long as the fog lights are far enough away from the actual brake lights they should be OK and 2 - Most cars have high level central brake lights now so not so much of an issue. Cheers Dave |

what about the blinding issue for driver's behind? One is adequate to penetrate the fog to allow your car to be seen , Volvo know what they are doing , there is also the legal situation , maybe the law changed to stipulate just one ? ..👍

I switch mine off when another vehicle catches me up as I dont want to dazzle the driver. Switch it on again if they turn off or stop.
