Hi,
Quote:
I know that the nivomat kit includes weaker springs... The shocks do most of the work. If fitted to a car with standard springs does the car sit up more at the rear? or what is the point of the weaker springs?? Des. . .

I can confirm the advantages of Nivomats. I agree they are expensive if fitted by Volvo but at the end of the day, I said 'b....r it' and coughed up. I am getting too old to be crawling around under the thing anymore. The difference is amzing, no sag whatsoever, and you even have that slightly sporty nose down look about the car, if you like that sort of thing. Ok, it doesn't go any faster, but who is to know that?

Nivomats and Springs ('97 V90)
Quote:
I was looking through the old posts on towing and came across this post of yours. Is it possible to fit heavy duty springs to a '97 V90? Is that spring assistors or uprated Nivomat componants? I ask as I've renewed my Nivomats a couple of years ago and just 'feel' a bit uncertain about them. Thanks, Allen |
