Hello

I have finely decided it was time for me to own a Volvo. The one I would like to have would be the T850R in Yellow with black alloys but it would not be realy a good choice for me as i do the best part of 500 miles per week!

I am interested in buying a V70 D5 for about £9K.
Would it be possible to point towards what I need to look for or avoid in a car?
When checking the history and serices of the car, what are the important point I need to check, i.e. cam belt...

What are the likely running cost of a V70?

My knowledge of those car are very limited being a newbie, so I would be greatfull for any kind of help

Cheers

Jack

well the cambelt is 96000 miles and fuel consumption around 45 mpg depending on usage . Plenty of go as well !
just look at the brake discs and if it's auto the colour of the autobox oil it should be some shade of red colour .. Otherwise go by what you see ....

Thank you!
What is the likely cost of a cambelt change?

What about minor servicing, ie oil changes? Can it be easely done at home?

Cheers
