I am sure the people who make the "alternative" vida boxes are actually shareholders in prozac, while Im looking at an old volvo box as its abs time I bit the bullet and bought a uk sourced dice box. I started out when "QDOS" as an OS was cutting edge and then windows 3.11 for workgroups and the installation after reading miles of guides ( I cant read the chinese instructions) brought back the not so fond memories of trying to force irq's to take video cards to like different slots etc I did a clean install of w7 pro ready to install 2014d and with the aid of the help articles got it up and running but no diagnostics till I spotted a post "fill in gearbox and steering" its the little things that you miss!
Seems to be working on my 99 v70

Seemingly I can't PM you, but are you still offering this? Thanks.

Hi Mike, will your VST deal with 2001 C70 roof calibration?

yes the technology stayed as pre 1999 on the C70 all the way to 2005.

Hi, got a problem with the car, gearbox warning light started flashing yesterday and it's going into limp home mode and then losing drive completely! Switched it off and drove a bit further and same again, managed to get it home on the school run like that! Can anyone recommend anybody local with a obd2 reader? Not sure if it uses a specific reader as it is a tdi, strange thing is it drives fine for 5 minutes when you first start it and the only problem I've noticed was not going into reverse from park in the morning but OK from drive for the last few weeks, I had intended to flush it but didn't get round to it! I've tried the pnp selector trick running it through the gears but no luck. The car is in Borehamwood Hertfordshire just north of London
Thanks Paul

Default Code reading

Hi I know that West Yorkshire is a long way from Bristol, but is there anybody out there that could read my AW 50-42 Auto g box codes please? I have the diy code reader, but don't know if it will read the codes or how to do it.
Here's hoping
