Advice please - just about to buy 2008 C70
Hi,
I will be purchasing a c70 privately in a few days, and have a couple of questions if someone could please advise? it is a 2008 C7 D5, good overall condition, 55K miles (small roof issue once closed, but very minor). Seller has told me he has had the AC condenser replaced and while driving an oil leak occurred on his head which was a leak from the roof which was a hydraulic failure and had this repaired (since this repair the small passenger side roof flap doesn't engage properly, but this looks like a minor repair with the tensioning needing adjusting). Everything else seems good and I will be paying for a full vehicle inspection before I proceed with the purchase. Is there anything else I need to be aware of when considering this purchase? Also, I'm not sure if the belts have been replaced - should I consider getting this done immediately as although it has only done 55k miles, it is an 11 year old car now? Anything else anyone would like to add would be appreciated. Thank you! |

Can't help you with the roof, but the belts and tensioners are.........
108k or 10 years. So if they have not been done they do now. Main dealer factor in about £400 ish. Think you need to post in a later section, this ones for C70 up to 1997 - 2005
