R-design rear door window trim - theft target

As the title describes, anyone had the light of fingers try to liberate the rear window trim from their car? The piece (silver strip) that runs between the window and door at the bottom of the window on the outside.

I noticed today someone had tried to lever off the trim on the rear offside door with a screwdriver by jamming it between the drivers door and rear door. I've taken it off and re-aligned it and will not (for obvious reasons) explain how it comes off and goes back on here.
