Yes. Thinking of a strip placed above the existing circuit board, between the axles of the rotary controls and the buttons below.

Did you wire to the cigarette lighter socket, to the 'backlight dimming' line on the radio wiring, or somehow solder or adapt a bulbholder to contact the lighting circuit in the heater?

Am undecided on that point
And some photos would be nice of the end result if you have them?

Lighten that right foot, Alex!

That'll help reduce the fuel bills.

Averaging 39mpg but driving 80 odd miles a day clocks up the miles pretty fast and traffic is a nightmare some days.

Mpg took a hit this morning though - Took an hour and a half to get into work and lots of stop start

Fitted my washer jets supplied by cookie which now stay in the bonnet and not fly out at the sign of a speed hump.

i managed to wire it into a bulb holder. i removed a bulb from its plastic case, and shoved the wires from the led strip in it. i will take my front off tomorrow and get some snaps. you can use 1 bit and start at the speed dial up around the top through the hole up above the directional dial throught the hole all the way round the temp dial and back through the hole stick it to the bottom of the directional them on to the speed dial. (do you get my drift?) the dials come out easily by pushing the clips in.

its a easy job the hardest part is the wiring. i guess it would be easier to wire it else where (12v socket)

any questions please ask. (pm easiest)
