Bit of an update, I took the car to an old mate of mine who did a smoke test on the boost system with the only leak being on the crankcase breather hose nipple.

He then used his scanner (Delphi software) which came back as on o2 sensor.

Just then his mate turned up with his diagnostics I don't know which one unfortunately but apparently £4k

This said injector on cylinder one operating outside normal parameters.

Its now booked in with the garage I bought it from to have the work done under warranty on he 20th.

So fingers crossed...

Is that the front of the engine? Im sure mine is down over the back v60 diesel.
I have decided to just wait and see if the repairs on the 20th do it.

Looks like it is over the back of the engine, behind the oil filler cap. Difficult to get to from memory

Hopefully by friday the work will be done and it will be fine. If not that is something to look at!

Do the v60 have vacuum engine mounts as the ones I can see look like rubber mounts?

Will be interested to know if it is the injectors.

My mpg is cutting in and out. Did 580 miles at the eeekend, filled up before and after and it worked out at 45mpg, which seems a little low given only 20-30 miles of that wasn’t motorway. No faster than 70, cruise control almost all the time.
