I have 2.0 d sport now but i want something with more power .. dont want a petrol at the moment so d5 is next best option I think..

There are alot more s60 d5 for sale then s40 d5

I'm thinking to get this one my concern was just the mileage

There is a 2007 s60 d5 with 87k for £1500 advert saying spot filter full.. does this mean replacing dpf?

Also the s40 is for £1600 is this maybe a bit cheap as it's a 08 plate? Maybe indicating seller just trying to get rid of it maybe because having some problems

No DPF to worry about and full main dealer history. OK, it's 16 years old but, again, that's not an issue for a well looked after Volvo.

Anything like this for the s40? Going to look at the s40 tomorrow .. to be honest dont know really what to look for .. even generally.. one thing is to listen out for knocking and other sounds from the suspension and steering as somehow every car i get always turns out to have these problems and I only really notice it a few days after buying the car..

I find to do a test drive while someone is there sitting next to you I'd kind of hard.. only once I can go alone for a proper drive can I start to notice things

I had an S60, D5, 163bhp. Good car, never had any problems. Some might disagree with me but I would much prefer the S60.
