D3 aux belt tensioner - Page 2

Spoke with a nice lady at Volvo uk about this today explaining how I had purchased the car before the recall expired and had never received any notice of it, she said she would look into it to se what she could do, I offered I'd supply the genuine parts as I have them anyway if Volvo would kindly pick up the bill to drill the hole.
We shall wait and see if she calls back.

Waste of time. Volvo UK just passed my number back to greers who said volvo UK contacted them to book it in. When I asked who the bill would be to they simply said "you sir" volvo seem to be getting as bad as vw, continously supersede the parts as they are sub standard and leave the bill with there customers.
Research and development testing before production, that's just an expense and inconvenience sure we can leave that with our customers.
