Hi there, I do believe that this is the place to tell you about a car for sale, it is owned by my brother. This is what he has text to me....

Details: 1997/R 3 litre manual, 6 cylinder, rear wheel drive. MOT June 2015. One owner from new 123,000 miles on clock. Full cream leather, black paintwork, new exhaust, new back tyres. FSH mint condition for the year. Very rare.

Hahah, fair enough.

He's much more likely to sell it if it is actually a manual gearbox equipped car, but if it is a 3 litre then it's almost certainly an automatic.

I'd love to be proved wrong though!

S/V90s were available with a 3.0 manual.

It was detuned to around 180bhp, to (wait for it) save the gearbox!

Ironic really, as many of us know that the M90 gearbox is pretty bullet proof, with many putting double that through them when attatched to T5 lumps in RWD cars.

Can't see the auto boxes handling that kind of abuse, somehow!

That's cool, sorry if I come across as a negative Nancy, but I've lost track of the amount of times I've seen cars for sale listed as manuals when they are in fact autos.

The worst offenders are usually Jaguar XJ owners, who either confuse their J-gate autos with manuals, or were too lazy to check the right box on auto trader.

He also has a Jaguar XJ6 1994/M not sure of the gearbox...

I am just the messenger, we never visit each other matey... we both work unsociable hours etc, etc... he says it is a manual.
This car is lovely, I have seen it once, and didn't sit inside it. My excuse and sticking with it
