Default Rear lights lens faded

The rear light lens have faded on my 480 as Im sure they have on alot of others.

Does anyone know of what is the best way to get them cleaned up again?

Is there some sort of compound/polish that is actually any good?

If so whats it called and where is best to get it?

Thanks for your help

Here
you can find a howto from the 480europeforum. Click on body&interior and then on rearlight clusters.
If the matting isn't to severe you can first try autowaxing them. That keeps mine nice and shiny and protects them also against UV light.

Default nice lights

Thanks for that B20F

My lights aren't as bad as that thankfully but will still be giving it a go.

Just hope mine turn out as good.

Cheers

Kinky beast..........

The ones on my 850 were so bad they wouldn't polish up so I wet flatted & lacquered them, not happy with them but they're a major improvement over what they were

I just polish mine with some peanut butter along with all the other unpainted plastic trim. Mine's a 95 and isn't really that bad.
