Crazy isn't it. I thought someone would buy it to drive around, pick up the SRS controller and ABS unit from on here / ebay / breakers at their leisure and fix the faults before the MOT at the end of May. Either that or break it.

Looks like a nice car and not even that far away from me - but since I already have an 850 2.5 20v estate there wouldn't be much point really

Might be worth getting some more pictures up if possible e.g. showing the interior etc... still I can't believe it hasn't gone at £150, especially if it has good history as you suggest, even if it does need some work.

After a succession of people expressing interest but then saying their wife said no etc. (nobody actually came to see it), I've had to bite the bullet and have arranged for a scrapper to collect it on Tuesday. Breaks my heart it really does. Started it up for the first time in probably 3 months today to move it and it started instantly and idled so smoothly - I felt so guilty.

You can count my wife among those Nick.
With the amount of trouble she had with her Pajero last weekend, and using my V70 for work, I thought she'd really want one, but nope.
I would have loved to have taken your one on, but it looks like we're stuck with this agricultural Pajero for a while longer. She just will not part with it, and I have to keep on fixing it. I hate the thing.
Small comfort, but this is one bloke who really did want it.

I am extremely happy to report that the old girl has been saved from the scrap man and is no longer for sale. I think it's going to a really good home too.
