Sorry Nick. I shouldn't have asked. A car for 200 quid is just too tempting. Especially one that's in the same city. I'm stepping away from the thread now...

May I please ask a perhaps obvious question; would I be able to drive the car home from Sheffield with the problems with the ABS pump and SRS unit?

Someone said about "... before letting them drive it in earnest ... " so it sounds like that's possible.

I'm looking for a 850/v70/940 and this sounded interesting, but I'm about 100 miles down the A1 from Sheffield.

From how I read it it seems that it's something needing to be done but not urgent (ie 1-2 days after ownership).

Also, what's the approx cost to replace the ABS pump and SRS unit?

Will somebody please buy it. I had mates on Twitter trying to talk me into it last night. There was some shocking man maths going on. You'd have all been proud!

Hi NickP

Sorry, I just looked and there is no PM in my Sent messages. I must not have clicked Send.
I cannot take it now, but hope you find someone who can.

Best wishes
Steve

I SORNed it. It's sat on my drive still. MOT'd until the end of May.

£150 if someone wants to come and pick it up. It runs perfectly.

Blimey Nick. How cheap has that got to be before someone takes an interest?
It's got to be snapped up at that price.
