1997 V70 AWD Manual for sale

As the title says my V70 AWD, metallic green 172,000 mile is up for sale, it's got MOT till the 15th December NEXT year. It had the MOT today and had 2 drop links and 2 CV boots for the test, there's a couple of advisories one about a slight leak on a rear shocker and one about a slight leak with a steering component it doesn't specify which component. I've got 2 keys and 2 fobs which belive both work, the tyres are brand new I had all 4 done around 2 months ago and I've done about 500 miles since I had them done.

The car has a CD multichanger which again works. I could bang on about how rare these manual AWD cars are but I always think that if you look at the ad you know what it is and certainly don't need some muppet trying get to tell you that these things are rare.

The prop is definitely still attached and all works fine, the car has a big bore exhaust on which was on it when I bought it over a year ago it makes a nice burble on tick over and a even better noise when it's given a foot full.

As with all older Volvos the boot struts are weak I can honestly say that it never really bothered me.

I've not took any pictures of the car as I've literally just put it up for sale, those who register any intrest or require any pictures I will get back to you ASAP and I'll try to get some pictures took in the daylight tomorrow. I'll be honest the car could do with a wash if I get time I'll throw a bucket of water over it.

Now down to price I'm looking at around £650, offers very close to this would be good, which I think is a very reasonable price given the age and condition of the car. All that remains for me to say is thanks for looking and I'll get back to any questions ASAP. The car is located in Chesterfield. Thanks Mike

Typical me, rushed in not realising this wasn't the chunky bumper one! Will have to sadly withdraw as I was after something very specific.

I have only just realised there is a regular 4x4 in the V70 (what a noob). I just thought they did an R version and the jacked up looking one with the big bumpers

Is this the turbo'd version? I have an R which sadly had the cambelt snap on me last week. I'm after a turbo'd version and can swap all my bits over.

It is unlikely to be the engine you seek!

It is probably a LPT 2435cc engine

you will need a HPT for a V70R!

As the man says it's not the engine you want it's the LPT 2435cc
