No, don't want to order until I can find someone to fit it! Hence posting here.
Surely there must be a reputable independent fitter that someone can recommend? I'm in Sussex, so it would help if they were South. I have bough quite a bit from China in the past, and its pure chance whether you'll get charged for import duty. So far I haven't. There's a video of this unit (in russian) which I've just found. Personally I will put iGo 8 GPS software on, as I think it is better, but you can get the idea of the functionality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_HkrJOT1CI |

Hi, I would be happy to fit for you, however, please be warned, I have been buying from China and Taiwan for over 10 years and the only way to be sure you get what you order/if at all, is to go and view the factories with a chinese speaking person, I have caught out so many people who post items like this on Alibaba etc for sale, have great websites etc, but actually are just a one man who is buying a product themselves from another source, no GOOD factory has the time, nor can be bothered to deal with the odd retail customer. on top of the price, import duty and VAT, you also have the problem if the unit goes faulty, you will need to send it back and you will pay for both ways, and the fault will be down to you!
I can also supply a system, that is an identical match to the Volvo system, supplied and fitted and I cover the warranty, let me know either way. |
