Sat Nav position Error
Strange one
The Sat Nav position on my wife’s MY14 V40 is no longer reading the right position. The shown position on the screen is about 10mile our from its actual position. Anybody had this problem before and know a fix? Thanks |

Is that the only possible cause?
Is it a DIY job or does a dealer need to fit it. |

yes it clips into the base of the plastic fin , you need a new sticky pad too . a known problem with a service bulletin .. the worst part of the job is getting the old sticky off . A hairdryer helps , and heat the roof and fin up before bonding it back on .

Quick update,
The sat nav position seems to have reset itself and now reads correctly. This happened after we had travelled outside of our normal commute area. Don’t know if it’s connected, but it’s now working. |
