Question Volvo 740/940 research project - any help?

Im doing a research project with regards to the body shape of the Volvo 740/760 and Volvo 940/960, can anyone suggest other makes of vehicle (not necessarily Volvo) that these cars could be mistaken for by when seen side on? Or is this body shape unique to Volvo?

I have seen vehicles on American films with a similair profile particularly the C pillar. What cars they are I don't know.

If memory serves me well, look up the mid-70's Cadillac Coupe de Ville, I seem to remember that boxy profile springing to mind the first time I saw a 760.

Hi, i own a 940S, and would love to find out more about these cars, for some reason, mine seems a lot longer than average, i measured mine today, and noted that its nearly 15ft long, can you get american versions of these models, as it seems quite large, i noticed that the 940 SE N reg, is not quite as long as my M reg 940S, i would be really interested in finding out more about this model,
